What is Visa on Arrival?

- Biometric Photo: Must have been taken within the last 3 months.
- Proof of Residence: A current proof of residence document is required.

- Round-Trip Ferry Ticket: Tickets for both directions are mandatory.
- Visa Fee: Collected in Euro at the time of application.
Length of Stay
With a visa on arrival, you can stay for a maximum of 6 nights / 7 days. Extension is not available.
Important Considerations
- Visa on arrival is valid for morning and noon ferries. It cannot be used on the 18:00 evening ferry.
- Visa approval or rejection is entirely at the discretion of Greek authorities. No prior guarantee can be given.
- Visa on arrival is valid only for Lesvos island. Travel to mainland Greece or other islands is not permitted.
- Passengers whose last Schengen visa application was rejected will not be granted a visa on arrival.
- Applications from passengers with a Northern Cyprus entry stamp in their passport will not be accepted.
