Green Passport Crossings to Lesvos (Mytilene)
Dear Passengers,
If a green passport bears an extension stamp, its validity is not accepted by the Greek authorities, and therefore the Ayvalık – Lesvos (Mytilene) crossing is not permitted.
Before travelling, we strongly recommend that your passport is:
- check_circle Physically valid and not worn or damaged,
- check_circle A current, newly issued passport rather than one bearing an extension stamp,
- check_circle Valid for a sufficient period.
Passport control and entry authorisation are entirely at the discretion of the border police. For this reason, our company is not responsible for any crossing issues that may arise with green passports bearing an extension stamp.
To avoid any inconvenience, we kindly ask you to check with the relevant authorities before travelling.
